I took a week long trip to visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi last week. Both places have always been a major inspiration for my art. Dubai and Abu Dhabi have a major stake in conservation as many of the hotels and new developments are being built on sea turtle nesting sites. I showcased my art at Provocteur which is located at The Four Seasons Dubai. I also attended the Art Dubai and Design Days festivals.
It was very inspiring to be over there and I hope to return in the fall with another show. They have a wonderful arts district called Alserkal Avenue. Its a fusion of New York's Bushwick and Chelsea's art neighborhoods.
